Anita commenced her fashion career as a 20-year-old owner of a fashion store, which soon grew, to four stores. She was sole buyer for womenswear and menswear and was a member of a prominent New Zealand buying group. Twelve years later she sold all four successful businesses, and it was a measure of her business ability and fashion sense that she was contracted for a further year to give advice and help with the buying in one of the stores.

In the mid 90’s Anita was Sales and Marketing Manager for one of New Zealand’s well-known knitwear manufacturers. As well as selling each new seasons range to leading New Zealand and Australian Retailers, she was also responsible for styling the models for fashion brochures. Her passion for the apparel industry continues, and she currently consults on a part time basis to one of New Zealand’s top women’s brands “Mild Red”

Being always called on by friends and colleagues for fashion advice, and by businesses for styling for photo shoots, she decided late last year to turn this into her business, which in turn lead her to the Australian Image Company to become an Internationally qualified Image Consultant.

Anita has always believed you can’t rest on your laurels and past experiences but be constantly learning to make the best of yourself. She applies this philosophy to her clients, empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to make them the best they can possibly be.
